Hello,
Can anyone suggest ways of slowing redo generation. I have five redo groups, triplexed, 50MB each. Should I increase the number of log buffers or their size (or both) to slow down the rate at which redo is generated. I refresh a data mart w/about half a mil. rows every night. While the updates are going on, I find that archive logs are generated almost every minute !!
Please help,
thanx
