How to increase open_links?

If this is a duplicate, sorry...



We have been using database links successfully, but now need to
increase the number.



We have adjusted the 'open_links' and the 'open_links_per_instance' in
the init.ora, but no matter what we do, the maximum number of
concurrent open links we can achieve is 8 (eight).



Does anyone know how to increase the usable number, to, say 30?
