Hi.

 In defence of Oracle :
  It may be possible that Win9x does not supports   Oracle 8i.

  Folks, don't forget we are dealing with JavaVM and   Oracle bundled together.
  In order to use it - multithreading/tasking must work.   Win 9x does not have it...
