Strange ORA-01653 error

I've gotten a ORA-01653 error message, however it is a very strange message.

I am doing an import of data into a table SPS_LIVE.SPT_GRN_LOCS in the SPS_LIVE tablespace. I get the following error:

"ORA-01653: unable to extend table SPS_LIVE.SPT_GRN_LOCS by 710 in tablespace SPS3"

There are linkages of any kind between tablespace SPS_LIVE & Tablespace SPS3. Why would i get that kind of a error message.
