Hello,

We wish to develop some internet/intranet web pages to access an Oracle 8 database (read and write access). Do we need Oracle's (Web) Application Server to do this? It doesn't seem to be on our Oracle 8 CD. I know Java can be used but I notice that many sites out there seem to avoid it - presumably they use ASPs etc. instead?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Matthew
