Does anyone know what the default hashing algorythm is for Oracle
8.1.5? I have 21 million rows to load into a hash cluster and want to
presort the data by the hash to speed up the load. I need to know what
the algorythm is though. The hash column is of type char(7). Please cc
response via email as I rarely check this news group.
