There are two main reasons for a object to become invalid:

  1. Someone changed e.g. an procedure or an view and made an mistake. As a result, the object will be marked as "INVALID"
  2. Someone changed an object on which another object depends. As a result this object also will be marked as "INVALID" until it will be accessed or executed the first time. Best regards
