Helen

Have you created Snapshot Logs on all Master Site Tables?

If you are using FAST REFRESH mode, as opposed to COMPLETE Refresh mode, you will need to create SNAPSHOT LOGS on all Master Site tables first, BEFORE you create any Snapshots on tables.

Also you may want to assign all related snapshots to a REFRESH GROUP, to help synchronise your replication for a related group of tables for referential integrity, transaction consistency etc., and when setting up Refresh Intervals for AUTOMATIC Refreshes.

For further info - read Chapter 2 Using Basic Replication in Replication book of Online Oracle8 Documentation Library.

I have just started on Replication too, and it is definitely challeging and non-trivial for complex multi-master, multi-site environments etc..
