Robert,

Technically, you cannot run SQLNet v1.x against a 7.3.x database.

Now that I have said Oracle's company line, on Netware, you can get SQLNet v1.x to work by doing the following.

Have a v7.2.x database with SQLNet v1.x installed. Upgrade it to a v7.3.x database, but do not remove any SQLNet files. Install SQLNet v2.x files. In your oraload.ncf file, remove the comments for the loading of the SQLNet v1.x files. Presto, it should work. (we got ours to work in 1997 on Netware 4.11)
