Not quite. Point is, if you have any questions (be it Y2K or other), and you contact
support after 31-12-1999, they'll tell you to upgrade. 7.3.3 will be desupported after that date. In order to get attention in the Y2K blurr, Oracle simply "upgraded"
the desupport statement to a Y2K statement.

If you have a support contract, it's free.
