Instance Monitor - Any Good?

 Hi,

Been evaluating Instance Monitor, from Quest Software, with mixed results. For example,

Shows an alarm about Buffer Busy waits being a high percentage of non- idle waits, & advises that either freelists or rollback segments are insufficient.

However, using trusty old SQL*Plus to query the data dictionary, I find Free List waits are 0, and the undo wiats are a fraction of a percent of the total of db block + consistent gets.

So why the alarm?

Am I missing something, or does this tool not work very well??

Cheers
Webbo
