Hi

I have a Oracle 8.0.5 enterprise edition database running in a AIX 4.3 HACMP enviroment in need to know how to automatically start and stop the databases when a failover begins.

I've pointed the HACMP software to the dbshut and dbstart scripts in the Oracle Home. These do not seem to be working.

I also need to know how to automatically start and stop the listener.

Thanks
