Hi,



I try to install Oracle8i for Solaris 2.7. Just downloaded the latest
patches for Solaris Sparc and replaced JDK1.1.6 with JDK1.1.8 (as
recommended by some Oracle consultants).
However, when I try to start "dbassist" it gives me a segmentation
violation.



Any ideas and hints are highly appreciated.
