Re: Oracle 8.0.5 Linux Install Problems

I installed Oracle 8.0.5 on Redhat Linux 5.2, without any problems, use ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID, ORACLE_OWNER in .bash_profile file and login into oracle user from CUI mode , do not use X session for this as it will not read .bash_profile file, Oracle owner should have group dba, and oracle_home directory must have read permission to every one.
