Granting Object-privielges with sys-user with not owned Objects

Hello!

I have the Problem that i cannot grant Object-privileges with user sys to a antother user User when sys does not own the object.

    grant update on tips.customer to joe;

fails with insifficietn privilege.
Is there any trick to do this with the sys-user ?
