Hi,
here's a toughty, how can I read a directory in oracle 8.0.4 I understand that i can read/write files using UTL_file and that the directory structure has to be described in the orainit file.

Basically i have an email address that put's the email into a given directory, but due to traffic flow the file name is a string of random chars based on the 8.3 format.
What i need to do is look into the directory, grab a message process it, then delete it.
oh, and it's on novell.
