Event id 1008 ???

Hi,

we have Oracle 7.3.4 running on a Windows NT4.0 machine and everything seem to be fine but there is an event log entry which I don't know what it means, perhaps some of you experts can help me. I have to translate the event log entry from German into English, so please don't mind if the description of the event id 1008 does not match word for word with the entry description of your event log (if you encountered that id, too). Event log says:

id: 1008 Source: Perflib kind of event: error

description:
The open-procedure for service "Oracle7" in DLL "operfdll.dll" has failed. The system-performance-data for this service will not be available. The return status-code is DWORD 0.
---------------- log entry end ------

I would be very happy if someone could help me with that misterious event-log entry.
