Ok..sybrand pointed out to me what sysdba and sysoper are for. Let me rephrase
the question. I currently log in remotely as oracle, and use svrmgrl to do
those things. Shoud I not be doing this? Are sysdba and sysoper instruments
in a way for not handing out the oracle password.
