Hi,

Our development is on HP-UX 11 (32-bit) with Oracle 8.1.5. We will shortly be moving to production on a HP-UX11 (64-bit) platform. we discovered that Oracle still doesn't have a 8.1.5 for 64-bit. So we put the available 8.0.5.1 on the 64-bit box. Now, we wanted to port one of the existing databases from the 32-bit box over. Any suggestions how to do it? Export/ftp/Import blew me out (guess because of 32-bit and 64-bit). Are scripts the only way to do it? Thanks. (Note: I am a rookie DBA....a detailed answer would be appreciated)
