Hi,



I am working with Oracle 8i installed at Solaris,
While giving startup command it gives the following error



Can any one help me to resolve this problem.

SVRMGR> startup


ORA-27146: post/wait initialization failed



{oracle}@terpsichore:> oerr ora 27146


27146, 0000, "post/wait initialization failed"


// *Cause:  OS system call failed


// *Action: check errno and contact Oracle Support
