Oracle8i 8.1.5 on NT

How does Oracle start the database when NT is rebooted? The older version of Oracle calls a CMD file which calls ORADIM command. However I am not able to find the same CMD file on Oracle8i installation.

I edited INIT<instance>.ORA but it appears that automatic startup does not use that INIT file. Any help is appreciated.
