If you're using Excel 97, it's extremely simple.

Step #1 OPen your excel workbook/create one.

	#2 From the menu, choose Data, Get external data, and create
	 new query
	
	#3 In the Databases /queries tab , choose <New data source> in
Databases tab
	#4 In the next screen, choose the ODBC driver. You should have 
Microsoft ODBC driver for Oracle 	installed,hopefully.

	#5 give an arbit name for this data source, click connect and 	choose
your table....rest is done by 	excel.
