Description:
Resonsibilities:
The system administrator is responsible for the health and maintenance of UNIX workstations and UNIX Servers. Will provide dba backup assistance and assistance to all Client/Server personnel on an as-needed basis. Troubleshoot all UNIX Server and Desktop problems. Source Control Tasks: Ensure that source code is captured and build environment is recorded for each GA [commercially available release] build.

Special Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience as a UNIX Systems administrator. (Knowledge of Solaris and/or HP UX is essential, experience with additional UNIX variants a plus). IMB AIX and/or Oracle Admin experience a plus. Understanding of TCP/IP networking hardware, protocols, and LAN Configuration a plus. Experience with adding users, adding disks, and performing backups. UNIX Workstation configuration experience necessary. Experience installing OS (UNIX) necessary. Solid TCP/IP and NetBios networking skills. Strong communication and analytical skills.
