Installing 7.3.4 on SCO Release 5

Greetings all,

I'm experiencing great problems trying to install the product. It keeps on failing with this error:

oraview.map(0): FILE_NOT_FOUND while mapping oraview. (No such file or d

irectory.)

This happens straight after trying selecting the products to install - either default or custom installation.

I've also tried to build a staging area with no luck. Same problem. Can't go any further than this.

Not trying to sound too smart about this, but I've installed many versions of oracle against many operating systems before but this is the first time I've ever tried to do it on SCO. So it's not as if I'm green at the installation process itself.

Can someone please help me out here? I've been pestering Oracle support all day and they seem to be stumped as well.
