The value for max_enabled_roles depends on the version of Oracle you are
using and your operating system. We have several databases running on
Novell/Oracle 7.3.4 with 240 roles enabled. Why so many you ask? Well,
that's because we have a weird third-party package that turns all of its
menu items on and off using roles.
