how many rows did I just insert?

In a procedure I have a insert into ...selcet as ...statement..
how can I tell how many rows I just inserted?  Is there a way to use
..RETURNING to get this?



suggestions?



Also, is there a better group to be asking Oracle PL/SQL questions in?
