More INFILES in the SQLLoad controlfile

In one of the manuels of Oracle I read that it is possible to place
more INFILES in the ctl.


I did in some ctl's:



I'm not sure if it is a coincidence or it is true but I'm sure that
the ctl's with more than 1 INFILE are much slower to load than the
other ones.



Is there anyone with the same experience?
(Oracle 7.3.3 on Sun Solaris)
