export/import from Oracle 8 to 7.3 HELP!!!

Hi,

I am trying to import some data from 8 to 7.3.4 I ran the catexp7
when I use oracle 8 export, it exports successfully, but import of 7 can't read the header.
when I try running the 7 utility I get to this point MEL2_at_melbourne2 oracle]$ $ORACLE_BASE/product/734/bin/exp USERID=system/moskva
 buffer=50000000 file='/u01/app/oracle/export/manager_close.dmp' direct=y index
es=n constraints=n tables=base_free.manager_close feedback=100000
