Error SQL*Plus : ORA-01460 (URGENT !!!)

Configuration :
Client => SCO 5.0.0, Sql*Plus 3.3.2
Server => Linux 2.2.0, Oracle 8.0.5

When I want to connect to the Server, I have an error : SQL*Plus: Release 3.3.2.0.0 - Production on Tue Aug 10 12:14:04 1999

Error accessing package DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO ERROR:
ORA-01460: unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested

SQL> I don't know how to fix this error.

I need help and wait for the Oracle Hot-line. Please ...
