Hi Ken:
Requirements to attend/participate is a position paper, either:
We are also likey to have a few invited speakers.
In the past two workshops that I've helped co-organise, the attendance has been between 20-40 people. It is very focussed, but gives a chance for people to discuss issues in a small group. I've found the experience very valuable and learned a lot.
Also, whilst not certain yet (since this depends upon the quality of submissions), there will be a post-workshop review and particpants may be invited to revise their papers for publication next year. We would be happy for a contribution from you. Deadline for position papers is 1 September.
There is also an OOPSLA Workshop on XML and Objects. I'm not involved with that, but I think info is available at the ACM web site.
Regards,
akmal
