Hello,

I have two questions about Oracle 8.0.5 on Solaris 2.6.

  1. What methods and products are being used for connection pooling and performance enhancement in an environment where the database is on a different machine than the front-end processes.
  2. How do you make Oracle server and clients talk over a different network once they are installed. In other words, I want to move all communications from 192.1.1.0 to 192.1.2.0 for all database comms. on a multi-homed set of machines.

Thanks in advance for your help, and please send any messages to 'mhyman_at_releasenow.com' Received on Mon Aug 09 1999 - 22:18:55 CDT
