Migrating 7.x on HP-UX

Hi all, a question for the HP-UX gurus amongst us, please. We're at 10.20, Oracle 7.3.4.2, and looking to go up to O/S 11.0 this fall (Oracle 8.x to follow sometime...). Client Services reports that for 11.0, however, 7.3.4.1 is the terminus release.

I understand I'll need to re-install (or over-install) Oracle once my files are moved over to the new O/S. Is this version difference (1) true, and / or (2) material? Is there any better approach to upgrading?
