Problems with Oracle 7.3.4, but not with 7.3.3

I'm currently using Oracle 7.3.4 on SunSolaris 2.6 and have the following problem:
A PL/SQL-program with several procedures works on a static database. After a more or less long time of execution (that is after a huge amount of calls of a certain procedure) I get the only few verbose Oracle error message:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error

... , presumably while executing a cursor.  Funny at this behaviour are two things:  First: Although the database, the program is working at, is static, the error occurrs each time at a different record. It seems to have no relation between the processed data and the time of occurence of the error.

Second: With Version 7.3.3 everything worked perfect.

Can anybody help me ? Has anybody an idea what has happend, some kind of overflow or anything ?
