Hi folks,

I posted this yesterday, but there is some confusion. I did
rm -r * in my $ORACLE_BASE dir.
All of my control files, redo, system, datafiles seem to be in place on other mounts.
I was thinking of just installing the software w/o creating the database (an installer option), then just restoring the initSID.ora file, and everything should be fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanx
