Full Export - Direct=Y, with LOBs

I am doing a full export in direct mode and getting some errors. I see in the doc that one cannot export in Direct-Path LOB types. But does this mean I would not be able to recover using this export file?

Is it still valid?

Thanks for any replies.

. . exporting table DEF$_PROPAGATOR 0 rows exported
. . exporting table DEF$_TEMP$LOB
