Oracle Data Replication versus FTP and sqlldr

Hi,

I have a question about the relative speed of using either Oracle data replication and ftp'ing of a ASCII flat file and running sqlldr on the same to insert my data into an Oracle database.

All the platforms are Sun Solaris v2.6. The database version is Oracle 8i Enterprise Edition. The data volume is in the range of around 100M. The process has to be repeated hourly.

If anyone has any experience with this kind of problem, I'll appreciate any help you can provide me.

Thanks.

Una.
