Hey All!

I want to make a backup of our Oracle server, my oracle skills is not the best.

My idea is to make an export of the whole database at night, where there is no write trafic on the system, the only user at night is the web server and it only reading from the database.

We can accept to be set 24 hours back if anything goes wrong.

Is this a good idea, or should i figure something else, and mutch more complicated out.

What do i need in addition to the full database export to get the database up and running on another server.

Kind regards
