Before Oracle 7.2, you can drop and recreate the index. On Oracle 7.2 or above, you can use the following statement to change an index's INITIAL parameter:

    alter index pk_table1 rebuild storage (initial 60k); Received on Mon Aug 02 1999 - 12:58:49 CDT
