Hi there,
I installed Oracle 8.0.5 on linux and trying to apply a patch downloaded from Oracle ftp site glibcpatch.tgz. I downloaded it on windows 95 partition since I can't connect internet from Linux because of winmodem. Anyway, now I copied this .tgz file to linux partition and when I try to decompress it, it does not recognize the filesystem. I think this problem is more with the linux but just thought anyone of you had this before...

Any feedback is appreciated.
