i'm creating these complicated SQL statements for migration of data to a new schema. when i execute a bad statement (no index found, cartesian join, etc) i can't stop it from a SQL/Net client (like SQLplus). i have just killed my session from within Enterprise Manager.

what's a better way of doing this? i'd like to kill the query directly without hacking out the entire session?

best regards,
