Replication of LONGRAW

Hi,

Oracle 8.1.5 provide no ability to replicate (truly 'replicate', not run 'redos' against snapshots) of a number of standard data types, including LONGRAW. The Spatial Cartridge (SDO_*) types are also excluded from the replication scheme.

I have one workaround that really bites. I have another (using external code) that works very nicely. But I want to use as standard an approach as possible.

I guess I'm looking for help with a workaround. Anything usable would be greatly appreciated.
