Hello.

I can successfully connect to the instance via D2K, sqlnet and sqlplus. but when I used sqlldr I get the following message:

oracle_at_wookie:~/scripts > sqlldr corona/passwd_at_corona control=netusage

SQL*Loader: Release 8.0.5.1.0 - Production on Sun Jul 25 18:36:12 1999

(c) Copyright 1998 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.

ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name SQL*Loader-704: Internal error: ulconnect: OCIServerAttach [-1]

The TNSNAMES.ORA file is in the correct place and the syntax is correct. The box is running SuSE 6.0 with the necessary patches,RPM's whatever.....

I took the listener.ora and tnsnames.ora file from a working installation running on SuSE 6.1 and modified it
appropriately.

ANY IDEAS? Thanks! Received on Sun Jul 25 1999 - 11:44:08 CDT
