Hello,

i have an environment with several oracle databases on unix and nt. Each database has
one or more entrys in the tnsnames.ora. I would find the easiest way for looking which
databases is running. I can try for connect when i have an ora message, then i know that
the database is shutdown. Are there other ways for looking which instance is started???

Thanks
