what is the oracle license policiy

I have several questions about the oracle license policy and the oracle prices. Does anyone know a oracle
document which explains this issue?
Some sample questions:
Is Oracle8i an enterprise edition or is there an Oracle8i as workstation edition?
Are there oracle workstation edtions for other platforms than sun solaris? Especially for Win NT?
Is a client license bound to a user or to a workstation? How about a jdbc-connection via applet?
etc.
