The problem is with the version of Oracle you are using.  In that release
for Solaris, Oracle included the wrong beginning address for the SGA (so for
small SGA's you're OK, but larger ones there's not enough contiguouse
space).  You need to edit on of the files in $ORACLE_HOME/lib (ksms, I
think) and then do some re-linking.  There is a description of the steps on
MetaLink or you can call Oracle Support for the steps.
