XA is a protocol that CICS uses to maintain consistency between CICS resources and DBMS resources.
I use it on UNIX/ORACLE, UNIX/DB2, NT/DB2 and am currently having dificulties getting it to work on NT/ORACLE. (After an EXEC CICS SYNCPOINT commits are not being performed)
