Performance

I am have a problem with performance:


Connecting/disconnecting to and from the database
takes to long. 8-10 seconds. Even when working
directly on the system console.



Working with Oracle 7.3.3, 128MB ram


dual pentiums, SCO Openserver 5.



Any suggestions
