SysDate have datatype DATE and no need converting of TO_DATE
If you write
> 5 date1 := SYSDATE;
or
> 5 date1 := TO_DATE(TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'DD.MM.RRRR HH24:MI:SS'),
'DD.MM.RRRR HH24:MI:SS');
You get full DateTime output
It is normal SQL
