Oracle data dictionaries

Hi all,

Is there a tool that will read in an Oracle data dictionary, and allow me to make a repository of meta data? Or do I have to write this myself? Do sources exist that give me a (complete) description of the data dictionaries for different releases?

I would like this to work for different versions of Oracle, say 7.2, 7.3, 8.0, 8i.
