Turning off RECO

I have a RECO process running on a non-distributed database. Probably a result of installing parallel server? Not sure, didn't do the
install. How can I turn it off?

In addtion, I've got snp01, and snp02. How did these get turned on? There are no replication queries or snaphots in the database.. Are they

related to job_queue_processes parameter for dbms.job package?

Thanks
